A DVR with an external drive puts hundreds of hours of programming at your fingertips. Place your choice of hard drive in a SATA hard-drive enclosure sold separately. For a standalone external drive, plug one end of an eSATA cable into the back of the drive. How much does it usually cost to get a new electrical hookup? We will probably be living in a motorhome for a few months this Summer while our new house is being built and I’m trying to figure out how much it will cost to have the power lines run out and a temporary pole put in immediately. It could preclude instances of getting shocked if touching something energized a hotplate and a device already installed in the home the stove, range hood etc..

You could use a single pole breaker, but you’d have to size the conductors and overcurrent protection at 50 amperes. You would need to have a ganged 30A breaker at the upstream breaker panel, as this is a multi-wire branch circuit. If you go this route you will definitely need to have a 20A breaker at the hookup panel to protect the outlet and anything connected to it.
You wouldn’t need to have another 30A breaker for the RV outlet as the ganged breaker would be enough protection.
The black post is for the auxiliary power, the silver one is used for hooking up electric brakes for a trailer. Use a nut to secure the connection You will also have to get a 40 amp fuse for the number 68 slot to allow power to the wire you just connected.
On the top right of the board there is a standard CPU power connector and next to that a 4 pin power connector as well. My power supply does not have a supplemental 4 pin connector. Do I need this and what is this extra 4 port connector used for? I assume I would need to buy an adaptor? The manual does not clarify what this connector is use for.
